Academic Environment

  • Gentle Reminder to “Stop, Think, Reset”

  • Reset in the resetting station using a timer.  An adult has a conversation about rebuilding trust and refocusing for learning.  The student is then welcomed back.

    Positive reinforcement with an emphasis on being proactive and having a restorative mindset.  Students were also encouraged to reset themselves as they felt the need to do so.  

Enrollment

  • 12 boys were enrolled (2 were 4 years old) 10 boys completed the DREAAM Summer Pre-K Academy
  • 3 of the 10 students who completed are Congolese
  • 7 of the 10 students who completed have their fat
